"Alright! Even though you almost died five days ago that should still not stop you from your training! Now, one thousand push-ups!" Lord Sedireng ordered, clapping his hands together as (Y/N) groaned in dismay but complied, getting down on the ground as she attempted to do push-ups only to stop mid-push.

"Wait," Looking up towards her teacher, (Y/n) cocked an eyebrow. "aren't you supposed to be teaching me magic instead?" (Y/N) questioned him, in return, Lord Sedireng chuckled as he looked away from her, admiring the scenery as some red robins flew by. "Well, yes, but magic also needs a worthy vessel, thus, that vessel must be strong-willed and, well, strong." Lord Sedireng explained to her, walking over towards a tree and sitting under the shade.

"Master Sedireng, but I thought that my Father instructed you to teach me less about magical swordsmanship and more about raw magical control." (Y/N) questioned him, getting up as she walked closer towards her teacher as she stopped once she was close enough to his sprawled-out legs.

Clyte, who is Lord Sedireng, opened one of his eyes and looked up at her only to close it again and fall further down on the tree. "I thought that you were more interested in magical swordsmanship more than raw magic control?" Clyte asked her, (Y/N) recoiled at that and laughed nervously.

"Yes, well... that event in the ballroom that occurred five days ago lead me to be more interested in the field of raw magical control." (Y/N) replied, smoothing out her hair as she stared down at the relaxed figure of her teacher, totally not wishing to be relaxing, too.

Clyte hummed in reply and opened his eyes, his light green eyes staring up at (Y/N) own (E/C) eyes. "You must have found it more natural, then?" Clyte asked her as (Y/N) nodded, her eyes shining. "Yes! It was like I was breathing, but easier!" (Y/N) explained to him, getting excited about learning more about controlling raw magic.

Nodding his head, Clyte looked up towards the leaves as some light seeped through the leaf's protection, a gentle breeze passing by making Clyte look as if he was in a small light show. "Even breathing can become a difficult task, kid." Clyte commented as he grunted, getting up as he loomed over (Y/N) small and frail figure.

"Look, kid," Walking around her, Clyte picked up a wooden sword and wielded it, swinging it over his shoulder as he looked straight down towards (Y/N). "Raw magical control is just not right for you." Clyte told her, this surprised (Y/N).

"Master Sedireng, what do you mean? Did you hear how good I was back there-"

"I also heard about how you were sick for three solid days, kid. Now, it's natural for someone to be sick because of overuse of magic for about one or two days, but not three. If you're sick for three days because of overuse of magic then that's the sign that means that raw magical control is not right for you." Clyte explained to her and swung his sword, preparing himself for another swing.

Looking at her teacher in confusion, (Y/N) started to slightly panic. "Master Sedireng, you're confusing me." (Y/N) told him, walking closer to him only to stop short as Clyte thrust (Y/N) practicing sword towards her.

Clyte glanced down at her and sighed, "What I mean to say is this. You used raw magic for a solid one hour, now that's an impressive time for a starter, but I do suppose that you were always the magic prodigy." Penetrating the ground with his blade, Clyte leaned on it as he looked at (Y/N) with emotionless eyes.

"Everything would have been good and all if you weren't sick for the third day, that's a sign that whatever magic field that made you sick is the wrong one for you, it's one that won't cooperate. Your Father already told me how much you wished to use raw magic when you were just a little girl, but because of this realization you stopped pursuing it and instead focused on etiquette." Clyte explained to her, the sun shining down on both of them as a small part of (Y/N) heart ached at the mention of that.

"I thought you were already aware of this fact, kid, but I suppose you forgot. Now, your best field that suits you best is magical swordsmanship, so I suggested that you stick to that field and be your prodigy self." Clyte suggested as he walked back to the shade, sitting back down.

"Master Sedireng-"

"Now, do one thousand eight hundred swings!" Clyte instructed as he went back to relaxing on his favorite tree which was the one where (Y/N) attempted to jump off of only to find out that she was an OP heroine. Good memories.

Sighing, (Y/N) looked back down and decided to do what her teacher instructed her to do. 'No wonder the past (Y/N) didn't want to pursue magic anymore, doing magical swordsmanship is not exactly my cup of tea either.' (Y/N) thought as she almost hit the ground with her wooden sword only to stop, catching herself before she officially messed up.

'She would have been so much stronger if she could have done raw magic... I suppose this can't be stopped.' Accepting her defeat, (Y/N) quickened her pace knowing that her teacher wouldn't let her eat if she didn't finish.

'If that's what you wanted me to think, you sadist! I am (Y/N) Lionheart, and I bow to no walls!'

Once she was done swinging her sword one thousand and eight hundred times, two hours have passed since then as (Y/N) arms were hurting and sore, not even wishing to hand over the wooden sword in fear of her arms breaking if she were to lift it once more.

"Two hours that I had to sleep... nice, but that was a horrible display for you. Now, go with your family and eat and come back here as soon as possible." Clyte instructed her as (Y/N) nodded, slowly walking towards where the courtyard doors lead to inside the estate.

Once in front of the doors, two of the maids waiting there bowed and opened the double doors, stepping back as they allowed (Y/N) to walk ahead of them. Not even having the energy to say thank you to them (Y/N) continued to head towards her room, walking down the hallways as maids and butlers passed by, bowing in respect once their little miss passed by.

"Little Miss? Master Luke and Mistress Aglaia are unable to attend dinner with you today due to the palace meeting, however, they wished to pass you this letter." The maid to her left announced, pulling out a folded piece of paper and handing it over towards (Y/N). Grasping the piece of paper (Y/N) decided to ignore the pain as she nodded sternly at the maid and glanced down at the piece of paper.

'I'll read it later.' (Y/N) decided, stuffing it inside of a small pocket that (Y/N) asked to be added to all of her dresses. "Please, bring dinner over to my room." (Y/N) asked them as both of the maids nodded. "Yes, Little Miss." Both of them agreed in unison.

Once in front of the huge white and golden-colored doors, the two maids opened the double doors and bowed, closing the doors once (Y/N) was inside as they went to go and inform the head chefs and other maids.

Wobbling over towards her bed, (Y/N) fell onto the soft and huge bed as she crawled towards the pillows, not having much strength to take off her shoes. Laying her small head on top of the pillow, (Y/N) looked up towards the ceiling as she thought of what her teacher said earlier.

"Can't do raw magic, huh? I'll show you, you sadist." (Y/N) grumbled as she closed her eyes only to open them wide as she heard a knock on the door. "Your food is here, Little Miss." The maid from earlier announced, awaiting for her Miss to let them in.

"Come in!" (Y/N) yelled as the handle turned, the huge doors opening as multiple chefs and maids entered and placed the food on a round table in her room as they pulled up the cloche's as the food was presented to her. Bowing down, they waited to be let go as (Y/N) waved her hand allowing for them to leave. Getting out of her bed (Y/N) walked over towards the table and sat down, grabbing her food as she began to eat.

Soon after, the other chefs and maids were gone as the door was shut tightly leaving (Y/N) with her own thoughts, and privacy. If only peace was ever an option.

"You seem down in the dumps, sweetheart." Flinching as she heard the familiar voice (Y/N) quickly turned her head around to the left to see the culprit only to see the mysterious boy from five days ago leaning on her bedpost, looking at her as his face was still covered with the familiar black hood.

"Oh... it's you." (Y/N) sighed and turned back around, her hands still sore. "I expected a better reaction from that, but I guess that'll do... for now." The mysterious boy said, walking over towards (Y/N) and pulling out a chair, sitting on it as he faced (Y/N).

"It's really rude to barge into someone's room without permission, you know?" (Y/N) stated, this making the mysterious boy smirk. "You just looked worn out, so I just came to check up on you." The mysterious boy replied, shrugging his shoulders as if he didn't steal one of (Y/N) croissants.

(Y/N) sighed, picking up a piece of meat and eating it gracefully as she was taught in her etiquette class. Yeah, she took those know. "Tell me what's wrong, darlin'." The mysterious boy asked her, this of course making (Y/N) scoff.

'Like I can trust this boy... but, then again, I don't really have anything to lose. So I guess it won't even matter, anyway.' (Y/N) decided as she gulped down the piece of meat, moving her eyes to stare at the mysterious boy's hood that was covering his face.

"I was just told that I can't further study the field of magic that I have come to enjoy, is all, and instead forced to study the one field that I despise." (Y/N) frowned as she remembered how much her heart ached, something that the now (Y/N) was certain was the past's (Y/N) own feelings.

The mysterious boy hummed and grabbed a chicken leg, munching on it. "Just do it, don't care what others say about your favorite field or how useless you may be in it. If you enjoy it, then do it." The mysterious boy suggested, this making (Y/N) smile.

"You're right." (Y/N) admitted making the mysterious boy smile. Serving herself some peppermint tea (Y/N) lifted it towards her lips as she sipped it, enjoying the cool taste of the tea. Putting the teacup back on top of its saucer (Y/N) looked back up at the mysterious boy, not even knowing if he could even see from that hood. This is an otome game, so he might be able to see from behind the hood.

"Say, what's your name?" (Y/N) asked him, grasping a macaroon not even wishing to remember the rule to eat sweets last. Her parents weren't here, so what's the harm.

Taking a bit of another macaroon, the mysterious boy gulped it down. "Mmmm..." The boy trailed on, glancing over towards the small girl only for him to gulp as he saw her (E/C) eyes staring intently at him. This, to his own surprise, seemed to greatly please him.

"...fine, I'll tell you." The boy agreed, this making (Y/N) lean closer over the table in anticipation.

"My name is Abaddon, nice to meet you, (Y/N)."
